Arkell’s latest acquisition (December 2017) and its first pub in the historic Cotswold town of Tetbury.

The Priory Inn has undergone a full refurbishment of its exterior, bar and dining area, with plans to refurbish all 14 of its hotel rooms in 2019.

The inn has also had a change of menu and a revamp whilst being sensitive to the provenance of the food. Relish has excellent relationships with many local suppliers in Gloucestershire and the ’30 mile’ radius for food sourcing is still going strong with 80% of all ingredients used on the menu being sourced locally.

Relish directors Rob Goves and Philippa Sawyer have been hands on when creating a menu to match the venue. Wood fired pizzas with a signature Shipton Mill base are the focus, with locally sourced toppings including Kelmscott Pork Chorizo, Fresh Tomato Salsa, Chilli and Garden Herbs. Or the traditional four cheese that includes a Brinkworth Blue and a Double Gloucester from Liz & Brian at Godsells Cheese.

Others include Wiltshire Ham Hock and Evesham Spinach making 2-4-1 pizza nights on Tuesdays a difficult evening to miss.
