Located a quarter of a mile from Ascot Racecourse, this gem of a public house and restaurant is a must for those with discerning taste. This Olde World establishment has been a public house for over 110 years now and its recent refurbishment combines authentic style, low, beamed ceilings and cosy ambience,.

The bar area, where you will be welcomed by Simon, David and their friendly staff, is spacious and has a good atmosphere. The crackling, open wood fire is a blessing during the winter months and is an ideal place to enjoy your favourite pre-meal tipple. Alternatively, the picturesque outside garden area is perfect for those warmer days and all tables come equipped with sun umbrellas.

Landlord Simon has recruited London chef Ray Brenner to help him and together they have planned a menu which is modern British Cuisine using local, fresh produce.

Families are welcome and, for larger private parties, there is a more secluded table area able to accommodate up to 12 persons. For a more intimate atmosphere, try the ‘Library’, which again accommodates up to 10 people. This area is ideal for business luncheons, dinners or meetings and for your convenience plenty of parking spaces are also available.
