Back to Pubs

The Talbot is a lot of different pubs all in one - large but cosy, quirky but comfortable, grand on the outside but homely on the inside.

- five courtyard en-suite letting rooms
- dining inside and out
- children welcome

The bar is at the centre of the building and most visitors head for the plush split-level Paddock bar with its beams and arches, where old church pews make up part of the seating.

Diners are well catered for to the point of being spoiled by the wide selection of home-cooked food, which is available in the Paddock bar or al fresco on the Stable bar patio.

Ever since Arkell's bought the pub back in 1877, The Talbot has prided itself on its genuinely warm welcome, popular with local people for whom the pub is at the centre of the community.
