The latest addition to the growing stable of Arkell's pubs, The Punchbowl Inn dates from the eighteenth century and is situated only 8 miles from Oxford in the historic town of Woodstock.

This traditional inn is in fact the closest pub to the main gates of one of the nation's most splendid stately homes and gardens - Blenheim Palace. As a consequence, the Punchbowl has been a popular watering hole with thousands of visitors over the years - including notable members of the aristocracy - all of whom never fail to be impressed with its historical charm and friendly atmosphere.
