If you are coming to The Fox and Hounds to enjoy a meal, prepare to be impressed. It has a 50-seater restaurant and it doesn't take long to find out why it is often full.
Every day the pub's menu features an enormous range of tempting dishes from top quality steaks to a variety of tasty pies. They absolutely insist on everything being home-made.
A 300-year-old coaching inn complete with stables, these days the pub is family-run with real fires and real character. There are also plans for a beer garden. No wonder The Fox and Hounds is considered a hub of the local community and is the meeting place of groups like the Dolphin Motor Club and the local caving club.
Most people, though, come to relax and, once a fortnight, they also come to be entertained. That can range from 60s and 70s to jazz, genuine American country music and cabaret... but "nothing too noisy"!
