The Eight Bells is reputed to be 300 years old - but this is yet another old Arkell's pub which has a modern outlook as well as the traditional atmosphere of a popular 'local'.

Families are always welcome here and the pub is proud of its reputation for providing fine food as well as fine ales.

It's generally a quiet, relaxing place except on Friday nights when the pub provides a popular venue for live music of various kinds.
