Back to Pubs

Masons Arms at Meysey Hampton is a gem of a village pub, right in the heart of the Cotswolds at Meysey Hampton near Cirencester.

- 9 en-suite accommodation rooms
- food served 12-2pm, 6-9pm

Arkell’s bought it in 2009 after it closed and with reports of 39 rural pubs closing every week, the villagers thought it would never open again.

When it did reopen – just three days after the brewery bought it, more than 300 villagers packed into the pub and onto the village green to celebrate.

Thanks to the villagers, this pub has a great atmosphere and is central to the community.

There’s good food too, and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation upstairs.
